Our Story
It all started when we purchased a jar of chilli crisp that blew us away. It had great crunch, and a nice umami flavour. We thought we could put it on everything. The problem was the price. So we figured we’d try making our own.
What began as a we can make something like this at home idea quickly turned into we can make it even better. Batch after batch, we kept refining, chasing more crunch, deeper flavour, and a better balance without cutting corners.
It became less about copying something we liked, and more about creating something we genuinely preferred.
We’re a small family business based in the foothills of Adelaide, South Australia. A shared love of cooking and exploring new food trends is what brought us together many years ago, and it’s been at the centre of everything we’ve done since.
Over the years, we’ve hosted all kinds of food focused gatherings, experimenting with different styles, flavours, and ideas, and sharing them with friends and family. Those experiences shaped the way we cook today and built the foundation for what we’ve created. It started as something we made for ourselves, then for friends, and now it’s something we’re proud to share with everyone.
Our chilli crisp is made in small batches, no shortcuts. Just real ingredients and a lot of taste testing. It’s bold, crunchy, and designed to make everyday food more interesting.
